UlriCa Engwall-Ceccarelli

Engwall-Ceccarelli built up her jewellery company "u, it's you" in Sweden over the past eight years. She began by designing jewellery for herself but, after friends began demanding more and more pieces, she decided to set up a small business. She now operates a workshop in Brazil employing 35 people and her collections have been distributed in around 200 locations in countries around the world.

Her inspiration comes from her many travels and her passion for the silver she works with. She designs for cosmopolitan, independent women who share her zest for life and variety. The jewellery is handmade in sterling silver using Brazilian semi-precious stones. The styling is modern; a mix of clean Scandinavian design with ethnic influences from Brazil and India - the by-product of Engwall-Ceccarelli's many years living and working in those countries.
